Uninstalling ArcGIS Desktop

Before you install a latest or older version of ArcGIS Desktop in your computer, it is necessary to uninstall the current installed version of ArcGIS Desktop from your computer. To uninstall ArcGIS Desktop follow the below instructions:

1- Go to control panel
2- Click on uninstall a program

3- Select ArcGIS 10.1 license Manager. Click uninstall/Change

4- Select Remove then press Next.

5- Press Next

6- Select ArcGIS 10.1 for Desktop. Click uninstall/Change
7- Select Remove then press Next

8- Now go to C derive and delete folder Python27
9- Now go to C:\Program Files (x86) and delete ArcGIS folder
10- Now you may install another version of ArcGIS Desktop.
